I started my trade mark practice back at the tail end of the 1990s.  Frustrated by the people who churned out standard form letters, without much thought but sent with a significant standard charge, I thought there must be a better way.  I didn’t think there should be anything standard about the way people protected their rights.  Over the course of two decades or more of running a very substantial trade mark practice, I found was to reduce costs, improve efficiency and cut down on the circulation of largely unimportant papers.  Launching barry legal is the next stage of this evolution - bringing automation, efficiency and cost savings to IP portfolios.
